Our call to serve the faithful is ongoing and perpetual.  Our approach to best serve God’s will must be one that reaches out to the hearts and souls of the faithful.  We are a family whether you are here year-round or seasonally, that seeks to enhance our ability to touch the souls of thousands that visit our home.  St. Michael’s vision, with your help, is one of Truth, Goodness, and Beauty that will attract visitors from near and far. 

Our new Ministry Center and Cloister is designed for peaceful prayer, contemplation and meditation.  Additionally, the Cloister will support the overflow of Holiday Masses, and will serve events such as weddings, reunions, and more. Our new center will have gathering spaces for the continued support of our growing ministries and outreach, along with offices, classrooms, conference rooms, and a fully equipped service kitchen.

God has called St. Michael’s to undertake the Parish transformation because of our location on Siesta Key.   The natural beauty that draws so many provides us the potential to touch millions of lives.  It is a call we must answer.

Our HOPE is to be a destination for the many visitors who seek rest and renewal on our beautiful island and through what we develop, re-ignite their spiritual light.

“The building of a new Ministry Center with a distinctly beautiful Cloister will allow us to continue our religious work and ensure that our children, grandchildren and neighbors will be spiritually fed and nourished for generations to come.  As God invited the generosity of sisters and brothers over 60 years ago, in 1958, to create a spiritual home for us, God is now inviting us to continue this commitment presently, and for those coming after us.”

• Our Ministry Center will be the only meeting space on Siesta Key over 2,000 s.f.
• The social facilities will be the best on the Siesta Key for hosting events like ceremonies, meet & greets, fundraisers, breakfast, luncheons, dinners, lectures, community and family reunions, even destination weddings.
• An inviting campus to encourage participation from the estimated 400,000 Catholics that visit Siesta Key annually.
• The grounds concept plan will display a beautiful “Waters of the World” fountain, where visitors can contribute water from their home city, state, or country
• A uniquely beautiful Cloister for prayer and meditation

How to give:

St. Michael’s has several methods for participating in our Capital Campaign.  We need all parishioners full-time or seasonal to provide a sacrificial gift to the Campaign.

• Personal visits with parishioners and special friends by the Pastor or committee member
• Three to five-year pledge commitments are welcomed
• Gifts of stock and appraised property
• Planned gifts of estate, trusts, IRA, and 401K
• Extraordinary Naming Opportunities are available at various gift levels.
• Online Giving, one-time or reoccurring donations can be made using the WeShare online giving site.

Capital Campaign Donations can be made at the parish office, we accept checks, credit cards, or ACH transactions. 

100% of the Capital Campaign Donations go directly to the building of the Ministry Center and Cloister.
